What a crappy day

Have you ever had one of those days where like nothing goes well at all? Then on top of it all you just feel shitty? Today was a shitty day for me. I don’t know, it just went by so slow. I was tired like all day. Now that semester has started back up, I’ve been getting forever lack of sleep, I hate it. Then I also had a major migraine, felt like I was being shot in the head 100 times. Fun, right?

I haven’t talked to Lucy in like 2 weeks. I don’t know what the deal is with her why she won’t talk to me. Everything was fine between us 3 weeks ago and now she doesn’t talk to me. I see she online and pm her and she doesn’t pm back. I’m not gonna pm her anymore though until she contacts me. I see she online, which urges me to pm her, its so hard not to. I wish it were February 11th when we just first started talking and when everything was fine between us. Can time be turned back please?

Employment Law Advice That Could Help Your Business.

Seeking the advice of an employment law professional is a good idea if you are an employer in the UK. Employment law solicitors and advisors can help you to understand the ever changing laws in the UK, which could, in turn, help keep you out of costly lawsuits and other legal trouble that may arise.

Employers are legally responsible for their employee’s welfare and must abide by the sometimes complex employment laws of the UK. Invariably these laws change throughout the course of the year and keeping up to date should be a priority. Employment Law specialists can help to interpret the laws for you and apply them to your particular business. They can also provide regular training if you have a department within your company responsible for your employees.

There are many different laws governing personal leave, vacations, minimum wages, sick time, benefits, the grievance process, discrimination, harassment, and other workplace concerns that you need to be familiar with and of course abide by. It can be difficult for busy employers to keep track of all the regulations and requirements as well as run their business.

You could find your business in trouble if you do not abide by all of these laws, even if the infraction is unintentional. Such an occurrence can ruin the reputation of your business as well as cost large sums in legal fees, fines, and settlements. This is where UK employment law advice from an employment solicitor is particularly indispensable; to keep your business protected by keeping you up to date and in compliance with the law.

With over one hundred employment laws introduced every year for the last four years in the UK, keeping track of all your responsibilities as an employer can be challenging. More than 100,000 people took their employer to court last year alone over various violations of these laws. With one third of employment disputes resulting in dismissal and compensation limits currently over £60,000, businesses stand to loose a substantial amount from these disputes. Added to the fact that 98% of employers who win their cases are unable to recover their legal fees, being incompliant with employment laws can be costly and even devastating to a business.

UK employment law solicitors can help you to stay abreast of revisions to employment laws and new ones that will affect your business. They can help you to compile your employment handbooks, training materials, and workplace policies and ensure that they follow the laws. If you want to protect yourself as an employer and your business, consider a specialist employment law solicitor to help you make sense of it all.

Nothing is Impossible to a Willing Heart

You can do anything in this world you want to do, but you must want to do it badly enough. You really can have everything you want, if you go after it. You have to want it.

The first ingredient of success is desire. Do you know what you want? Your desire is the planting of your seed.

Your desire for success must be so strong within you that it’s the very breath of your life. It must be your first thought when you wake in the morning, and your last thought when you go to bed at night.

You can be whatever you make up your mind to be. What’s in your mind is all that counts.

Make Money From Home

Work at Home and Financial Independence

Financial independence is being able to live from your own personal resources. One of the reasons you need to be financially independent is that one can no longer depend on a stable job for your entire life in today’s economic climate. Here are some ways to look at your life and your desire for financial freedom.

You chose to work from home for a reason

Whether you are already working from home or are considering it, you are on the right track. Being responsible for your own economic situation provides an energy and a sense of urgency which will propel you to learn more, work harder and dream bigger. Whether you need to stay at home because you have to care for small children or an aged parent, or because you don’t see a future in your present employment you are on track to eventual financial freedom and taking control of your life. All of these are good reasons so don’t give up on your decision.

Working hard for low wages doesn’t make sense

There is always a time to decide that what you are doing now is not going to benefit you in future. Though it might be difficult at first you need to make a change if you are going to be safe and secure financially and provide for your family in the way you want to. Even if in your present job provides reasonable benefits such as unemployment, retirement, and other benefits you can always eventually put those in place yourself. You may have to keep your present job till you can safely replace your day job benefits with an equal salary and be able to provide for retirement which always comes sooner than you think.

You have to have a plan

If you are still single, you can take some risks that married people responsible for a family cannot. If you are married, you have to be sure you can pay the bills while you go through the learning curve of working from home. There is an adjustment period where you have to find out how to manage your new work at home business and no matter what the advertisers tell you, you will probably not make money immediately.

If at all possible determine to live on cash and pay off all credit cards as soon as you can. Organize your budget to fit your present situation and don’t spend on things you don’t have money for. Think into future benefits. Plan to have 8 months emergency fund in place if you can before depending on a work at home plan. Plan the number of hours you are able to work at your work at home plan before giving up your other job. Plan how you are going to use profits you make to go back into your business. In other words think like a business person.
